Thinking about resurfacing or painting a tired driveway? A colour seal is often all it needs. Our signature is colour sealing with Dulux Avista: two heavy coats of tinted seal that restore faded, patchy concrete to a fresh, even colour, then protect it for years. We also do clear sealing.

A clear seal protects the concrete you've got. A colour seal transforms it. It's a premium tinted coating — we use Dulux Avista — applied over your prepared driveway to resurface and recolour it in one go.
Faded, patchy, stained or mismatched concrete comes back as a fresh, even, modern colour — then it's protected against salt, UV, oil and algae for years. It's the difference between a driveway that looks clean and one that looks brand new.

Colour seal, clear seal — or paint?
The most important thing to understand before you spend a cent: a colour seal is not driveway paint.
Colour seal
A tinted Dulux Avista seal that resurfaces AND recolours the concrete. Evens out patchy, faded, stained slabs into a fresh, uniform colour — then protects it.

Clear seal
A clear penetrating or wet-look seal that protects and lifts the colour that's already there, without changing it.

Driveway paint
Sits on top of the concrete as a film. Looks okay at first, but it can't breathe — so moisture pushes it off.

- We don't recommend it — and here's why.
- Durability
- Peels, flakes and lifts, especially under sun, tyres and water.
Paint can't breathe, so moisture trapped under the slab pushes it off — that's why painted driveways peel. A Dulux Avista colour seal bonds into the surface and stays breathable, so it holds up to the sun, tyres and water a driveway lives with.

Clear sealing, when the colour's already right.
If your concrete or aggregate is in good nick and you like the colour, a clear seal is all you need — it protects the surface and lifts the finish without changing the look. Choose your level of sheen:

Assess & colour match
We look at your surface and staining, talk through clear vs colour, and — for a colour seal — help you choose a Dulux Avista colour that suits your home.

Deep clean
Commercial cleaning strips years of algae, oil and grime so the seal bonds to bare, sound surface — the step that makes or breaks the finish.

Prep & repair
We treat stubborn stains, re-sand paver joints, spot-repair where needed and let the surface dry completely before anything goes down.

Seal or colour seal
We apply your seal evenly in multiple coats — a clear wet-look/natural seal, or a Dulux Avista colour seal that resurfaces and recolours the concrete.

Cure & protect
The seal is left to cure properly so it hardens into a tough, breathable, long-lasting finish. We leave the site spotless.
Aftercare is easy. Keep off the fresh seal for the cure time we give you (usually a day or two for foot traffic, a little longer for cars), then just hose it down when it needs it — a sealed driveway cleans up in minutes instead of a full scrub.

His honed customer service skills and attention to detail is more than impressive at such a young age. He showed up on time for the initial quote, emailed details through within 24 hours, answered questions & followed up diligently throughout the whole process. We had a large concrete area to be cleaned & sealed & a driveway to be cleaned & resealed. Riley and his team were professional & perfectionists from start to finish taking care to ensure no damage occurred to our house or gardens through any wayward over spray. Our newly cleaned & sealed concrete looks incredible and I can’t recommend Riley & his team highly enough. Consummate professionals from start to finish, all completed at a reasonable price too.

a month agoWe recently had our old driveway revamped by Riley at Clean & Seal, and couldn't be happier with the result! We had an old stencilled driveway that met a badly concreted section that was kicking up gravel. Riley was prompt with his quote and always on time, and the work was carried out exactly as scheduled. a month agoClean & Seal - Driveways I do not often write reviews but when a company is this good I would regret not doing so. I have spent my life in the luxury hotel business, where service is at the top of the list for customers ‘Clean and Seal Driveways’. From Riley Penn’s first visit to offer a quote, I had others, It was different. He checked the area and asked detail of exactly what I wanted, from cleaning to what type of sealant I wanted …the brick driveway was in a bad state. His colleague George, did the cleanly to find the a previous builder had stained the bricks almost beyond repair. Eventually after a number of tries using various methods including acid he brought it back to its original state. Then using sand he filled the gaps but felt in needed a dinner sand so went and bought some. It was eventually sealed, stalled by me using a hose on the nearby lawn ! The time they spent to get it right was way over the time his quote covered, but the original quote was honoured. As a final thoght he left me a bag with a thank you note along with sweets …something that has never happen before with the many trades I have dealt with. Riley and George are extraordinary when it comes to service and quality of work and as such would recommend unquestionable to anyone require work to be done on his driveway (you may even call me should you wish a verbal quote, Riley has my number) Thank you ‘CLEAN & SEAL .

3 weeks agoRiley and his team, "Clean & Seal"did a great job in restoring my drive way! The driveway now looks brand new! George did the high preassure cleaning and preparation of the concrete. One week later George returned with Gavin and did the application of two full coates of Premium Sealer ( Dulux Avista). George and Gavin were very polite,friendly and very efficient! What is colour sealing?+
Colour sealing is a premium tinted seal — we use Dulux Avista — applied over your prepared concrete to resurface and recolour it. Instead of just protecting the surface like a clear seal, it evens out patchy, faded or stained concrete into a fresh, uniform colour, then protects it for years. It's the difference between a driveway that looks clean and one that looks new.
Is colour sealing the same as painting my driveway?+
No — and it's the most important thing to understand. Driveway paint sits on top of the concrete and eventually peels, flakes and lifts, especially under hot sun, tyres and water. A colour seal bonds into the surface and stays breathable, so moisture can escape and it won't peel like paint. It's a proper coating system built for driveways, not a tin of paint.
Can you change or refresh my driveway's colour?+
Yes. With the Dulux Avista colour range we can give you a fresh, even colour — warm the concrete up, take it darker and more modern, or bring a tired, blotchy slab back to a clean uniform look. We'll help you choose a colour that suits your home.
Should I get a clear seal or a colour seal?+
If your concrete is in good nick and you like the colour, a clear seal protects it and gives a wet-look or natural finish. If it's tired, faded, patchy or stained, a colour seal transforms it — it's the bigger visual change and our most popular option. We'll tell you honestly which is right for your driveway.
How long does driveway sealing last?+
A quality seal on a properly prepped driveway lasts 4+ years on the Central Coast, depending on traffic and sun exposure. We'll recommend a reseal window so it never gets away from you.
Do you clean and seal in one visit?+
The clean and seal are usually split across visits — the surface must be completely dry before sealing for the finish to bond and last. We'll schedule it so it's seamless for you.
